We are looking for a receptionist to join the medical clinics team, responsible for welcoming patients and visitors and providing them with a professional and distinctive experience. The role includes organizing appointments, files, and coordinating between patients and the medical team, while adhering to quality and privacy standards.
Duties and ResponsibilitiesWelcome patients and visitors and greet them in a professional and courteous manner.
Record patients' information and update details in the medical system.
Book, organize, and confirm patients' appointments, and follow up on the clinic schedule.
Coordinate with doctors and nursing staff to organize patients' entry to the clinics.
Answer calls and inquiries, and direct patients according to their needs.
Receive patients' requests, follow up on them, and ensure the required service is provided.
Organize patients' files and maintain the confidentiality of information and medical data.
Handle appointment systems and the facility's electronic systems.
Coordinate with the medical insurance department when needed and verify insurance coverage details.
Receive payments and issue invoices, according to the nature of the work and authorized permissions.
Monitor patients' attendance and appointments and reduce no-show cases.
Direct patients to the appropriate clinics, departments, and services.
Handle patients' complaints and inquiries professionally, and escalations cases that require escalation to the relevant supervisor.
Comply with the policies and procedures of the medical facility and patients' service standards.
Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to professional ethics in dealing with patients.
High school diploma or higher.
Previous experience in reception or customer service is preferred, especially in medical centers and clinics
.Excellent communication and patient service skills.
Proficiency in using computers and electronic systems.
Ability to handle work pressure and organize multiple tasks at the same time.
Tact, good interpersonal skills, and ability to solve problems.
Commitment to professional confidentiality and patients' data privacy.
English language proficiency is preferred.
