Clinical Pharmacist
Diaverum is a Swedish-born, multinational healthcare organisation providing life-enhancing renal care to patients with chronic kidney disease. With more than 15,000 employees across 25 countries, and over 1,400 colleagues in 33 cities and towns across the Kingdom, we combine global experience with strong local presence. Our vision is to transform renal care by broadening access to high-quality kidney care. This is enabled by our standardised care delivery model, continuously evolving digital and AI capabilities, and people who care with competence, passion and inspiration.
At Diaverum Saudi Arabia, pharmaceutical care is a clinical discipline, not a dispensing function. Dialysis patients carry complex medication regimens that must be reviewed, monitored and adjusted continuously. The Pharmacist is the person who ensures every patient receives safe, effective drug therapy and that pharmaceutical supplies across the clinic are managed with precision and accountability.
We are now looking for a Pharmacist who delivers evidence-based pharmaceutical care, manages medication safety and supply quality and works as a fully integrated member of the multidisciplinary team.
The Role
Pharmacist is responsible for planning, coordinating, delivering and evaluating pharmaceutical care services for patients across assigned clinics. You manage pharmacotherapy plans, oversee pharmaceutical supplies, monitor clinical parameters and ensure that pharmaceutical care meets both local and international standards.
You will report to the Clinic Manager and work closely with the Head of Pharmaceutical Care, the multidisciplinary team, clinic nurses, physicians and logistics services.
What You Will Do
You will deliver direct patient pharmaceutical care while also managing supply quality, documentation and continuous improvement across your assigned clinics.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Deliver effective drug therapy, health promotion and lifestyle management tailored to dialysis patients across different backgrounds, age groups and medical histories.
- Implement a continuous and accurate pharmacotherapy plan for all patients, covering screening, assessment, diagnosis, intervention, reconciliation, documentation, monitoring and evaluation.
- Manage clinical parameters and evaluate all aspects of pharmaceutical care against national and international standards in renal care and chronic disease management.
- Manage pharmaceutical supplies to ensure medication safety, product quality, storage, delivery and availability at all times.
- Review stock data regularly, including slow-moving items, near-expiry items and zero-stock items, and provide recommendations.
- Coordinate with logistics services on supply quality, availability and critical pharmaceutical item reporting.
- Conduct consumption analysis to align clinic supply with actual patient needs and reduce waste.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all aspects of patient pharmaceutical care management.
Who You Are
You are clinically precise, supply-aware and effective in a multidisciplinary team. You understand that medication management in a dialysis setting requires both strong clinical knowledge and operational discipline.
You will be well-suited to this role if you:
- Manage pharmacotherapy with clinical accuracy and genuine patient focus.
- Monitor and manage pharmaceutical supplies without gaps or avoidable shortages.
- Document and report consistently and without needing to be followed up.
- Communicate clearly with physicians, nurses and clinic managers.
- Stay current on renal pharmaceutical standards and regulatory requirements.
Experience and Qualifications
We are looking for someone with a pharmacy background and a genuine interest in clinical and patient-centred care.
What we need:
