Director – Healthcare and Life Science

Frost & Sullivan’s Healthcare practice works with public and private sector clients to address critical challenges and capitalize on emerging opportunities across pharmaceutical, healthcare delivery, digital health, medical technologies, diagnostics, and healthcare financing. We are seeking a Director to lead complex strategic engagements across healthcare sub-segments, deliver impactful recommendations, and build strong relationships with clients across the Middle East.

• Lead business development along with the commercial teams and own the top and bottom-line targets of the practice.
• Develop concept notes, proposals, and lead pitches to clients along with the commercial team.
• Drive the execution team to deliver engagements; guide and mentor the team to deliver high-quality client deliverables.
• Supervise and mentor a team of consultants/associates to build structured, evidence-backed strategies.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients; manage expectations, communicate insights clearly, and build trusted relationships.
• Translate client challenges into structured problem statements and develop actionable, data-driven solutions and recommendations.
• Manage multiple projects and stakeholder priorities concurrently in fast-paced settings while owning the overall business performance of the practice.
• Support development of intellectual capital, including whitepapers, articles, and points of view on emerging healthcare topics.
• Maintain a strong understanding of local healthcare dynamics in the Middle East.
• Troubleshoot internal and external project challenges by proactively stepping in to resolve bottlenecks, realign delivery, and maintain client confidence and internal momentum.

• 12-15 years of experience in consulting, advisory, strategy, or the healthcare industry.
• Master’s degree in business administration, or related field. Clinical background (e.g., MBBS, BDS, BPharm, PhD) is a plus.
• Willingness to learn / experiment with, and quickly adapt new tools and technologies.
• Strong experience delivering strategic insights to senior clients in healthcare.
• Business development / sales, Analytical, communication (verbal and written), and project management skills.
• Ability to independently drive projects, manage complex stakeholder relationships, and grow wallet share in accounts.
• Understanding of healthcare ecosystems in Middle East.
• Comfortable working across multiple time zones with distributed teams.
• Demonstrated domain knowledge in at least 2 of the following fields:
  • Healthcare delivery and hospital strategy
  • Digital Health
  • Health Tech
  • Diagnostics and laboratory services
  • Investment strategy and due diligence of healthcare companies
  • Pharma and Biotech
