Knowledge and Skills- Minimum 2 years of experience in restaurant kitchens, preferably in specialist, fine‑dining, French, or European cuisine.
- Basic understanding of kitchen equipment and safe handling of knives and other tools.
- Ability to follow recipes precisely and maintain consistency in preparation and presentation.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new cooking techniques and culinary trends.
- Ability to work under supervision while contributing effectively as part of the team.
- Awareness of health and safety standards, hygiene protocols, and kitchen organization.
- Positive attitude, teamwork, and willingness to assist senior chefs as required.
- Basic understanding of English spoken and written for effective communication.
- Level 1 or 2 Food Safety Certificate
- Previous experience in a high‑volume or fine‑dining restaurant environment.
- Previous experience in French/European cuisine.
