As the strategic and operational leader, the General Manager will oversee all aspects of pre‑opening, launch, and ongoing hotel performance. The role requires a visionary luxury hospitality leader who consistently delivers exceptional guest experiences, drives commercial excellence, builds high‑performing teams, and upholds the gold standards of The Ritz‑Carlton brand.
Candidate Profile- 10+ years of senior leadership experience in luxury hotels, including 5–10 years as a General Manager (non‑negotiable).
- Proven track record managing luxury brands—preferably within The Ritz‑Carlton, Marriott Luxury Brands, or comparable ultra‑luxury operators.
- Middle East experience is required, ideally with pre‑opening exposure.
- Strong commercial and operational background, with demonstrated success in driving revenue, profitability, and guest satisfaction in competitive luxury markets.
- Strategic Leadership & Pre‑Opening – Lead all pre‑opening activities, including project timelines, departmental structure, recruitment, service concepts, SOP development, and financial planning.
- Operational Excellence – Ensure flawless execution across Rooms, F&B, Spa, Engineering, Guest Experience, and Support Services, maintaining Ritz‑Carlton standards through continuous training and quality assurance.
- Commercial & Financial Management – Deliver strong commercial performance, oversee budgeting, forecasting, cost controls, and build strategic partnerships to enhance brand visibility.
- Talent Leadership & Culture Building – Attract, inspire, and retain exceptional luxury hospitality talent, champion a culture consistent with The Ritz‑Carlton’s “Ladies and Gentlemen” service philosophy.
- Stakeholder & Community Engagement – Represent the property to local government, community partners, cultural institutions, and tourism authorities, fostering relationships within the Diriyah development ecosystem.
- Lead one of the most anticipated luxury hotel openings in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
