, you'll play a key role in managing and elevating our In-Room Dining operations—ensuring personalized service, premium standards, and seamless guest experiences day and night.
You'll work closely with the In-Room Dining Manager and the wider F&B team to drive service excellence, optimize operations, and uphold the standards that define our IHG brand.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee daily operations of In-Room Dining, ensuring all guest orders are delivered accurately, promptly, and with exceptional presentation.
- Lead, train, and support a team of in-room dining servers, order-takers, and attendants—ensuring consistency in service and adherence to brand standards.
- Maintain operational standards in line with IHG guidelines including hygiene, food safety, grooming, and guest service expectations.
- Coordinate with culinary and stewarding teams to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders.
- Handle guest requests and complaints professionally, efficiently resolving any service issues with empathy and urgency.
- Monitor and manage stock levels, equipment, and supplies to ensure operational readiness at all times.
- Assist in scheduling, labor management, and cost control to support budget targets.
- Support the In-Room Dining Manager in menu planning, promotions, and service innovations that enhance guest satisfaction and revenue.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, team collaboration, and guest-focused service.
- At least 2 years’ experience in a supervisory or assistant manager role in In-Room Dining or F&B within a 4- or 5-star hotel.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Passion for hospitality and delivering outstanding guest service.
- Knowledge of food safety and HACCP standards.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts including weekends and holidays.
- Experience with POS systems and basic Microsoft Office applications.
