Overview

Chief Steward Supervisor in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia is a Restaurants role for an experienced Indian male hospitality professional with strong hotel stewarding, kitchen hygiene, dishwashing operations, staff supervision, and back‑of‑house support experience. The role is suitable for a young, English‑speaking candidate with previous 4‑star or 5‑star hotel experience and the ability to maintain clean, safe, and efficient stewarding operations in a busy hotel environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise daily stewarding operations across kitchen areas, dishwashing sections, storage areas, banquet support areas, and back‑of‑house facilities.
  • Ensure all kitchen equipment, utensils, crockery, cutlery, glassware, pots, pans, and service items are cleaned, sanitized, and stored properly.
  • Assign duties to stewards and kitchen cleaning staff based on daily hotel operations, banquet requirements, restaurant service, and kitchen workload.
  • Monitor cleanliness of kitchen floors, walls, drains, garbage areas, dishwashing machines, stewarding equipment, and storage spaces.
  • Support chefs, food and beverage teams, and banquet staff by ensuring required service equipment is available on time.
  • Check dishwashing machine operation, chemical usage, cleaning tools, and sanitation procedures to maintain hotel hygiene standards.
  • Control breakage, wastage, equipment handling, and stewarding supplies through proper supervision and reporting.
  • Ensure garbage disposal, waste segregation, and cleaning schedules are followed according to hotel procedures.
  • Train stewarding staff on hygiene, cleaning methods, chemical safety, equipment handling, and safe working practices.
  • Report maintenance issues, damaged equipment, shortage of supplies, and safety concerns to the concerned department.
  • Maintain daily stewarding records, cleaning checklists, equipment logs, breakage reports, and shift handover notes.
  • Follow hotel grooming, hygiene, food safety, and operating standards at all times.
Ideal Profile
  • Indian male candidate required.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the same position.
  • Previous experience in 4‑star or 5‑star hotels is required.
  • Good English speaking skills are required.
  • Young, active, presentable, and responsible personality.
  • Strong knowledge of hotel stewarding operations, kitchen hygiene, dishwashing systems, sanitation standards, and back‑of‑house support.
  • Ability to supervise stewarding staff and maintain discipline during busy hotel operations.
  • Good communication, reporting, organization, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Able to work under pressure during restaurant, banquet, and high‑volume kitchen operations.
  • Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and hotel operation schedules.
