Position Overview
Utility Cleaner – Stewarding Support in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia is a full‑time hospitality role within the food services–hospitality function of a luxury hotel. The selected employee will support cleaning needs across kitchen, food and beverage, laundry, and other service departments, ensuring clean linen, spotless dining ware, properly maintained tools, and reliable support for hotel operations.

Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
Salary: 3,000 – 4,500 Saudi Riyals (est.)
- Support cleaning and utility duties across hotel departments including kitchen, food and beverage, laundry, and service areas.
- Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and tools such as dishwashing machines, hand wash stations, linen washers, and dryers.
- Prepare clean linen and spotless dining ware for guest and operational use.
- Transport dishware, linen, supplies, and cleaning materials across assigned hotel areas as required.
- Wash, clean, organize, and support the movement of items needed by culinary, service, and laundry teams.
- Maintain cleanliness and order in work areas, equipment zones, storage points, and service support areas.
- Follow safe work practices when handling cleaning equipment, linen, dishware, tools, and supplies.
- Support team members in completing department cleaning needs during busy periods.
- Ensure cleaned items and work areas meet hotel standards.
- Report accidents, injuries, unsafe work conditions, equipment issues, or maintenance needs to the manager.
- Follow company policies, safety procedures, security standards, hygiene expectations, and quality guidelines.
- Protect company assets and handle hotel equipment responsibly.
- Maintain professional uniform, appearance, and communication during the shift.
- Speak clearly and professionally with supervisors, colleagues, and other departments.
- Build positive working relationships with employees and support the team in reaching common goals.
- Listen and respond appropriately to employee concerns and operational instructions.
- Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods during the work shift.
- Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
- Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
- Perform additional reasonable duties requested by supervisors to support hotel operations.
- No high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is required.
- No related work experience is required, although previous cleaning, stewarding, laundry, kitchen support, hotel, restaurant, or back‑of‑house experience is helpful.
- No supervisory experience required.
- No license or certification required.
- Basic understanding of cleanliness, safe work practices, equipment care, and teamwork is preferred.
- Willing to support multiple hotel departments based on daily operational needs.
- Able to follow instructions, cleaning procedures, safety policies, and quality standards.
- Comfortable working in an active role that requires standing, walking, lifting, bending, carrying, and moving during the shift.
- Reliable, hardworking, and ready to support kitchen, food and beverage, laundry, and service teams.
- Able to communicate professionally with supervisors and colleagues.
- Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, safety, and guest‑service support.
- Physically able to complete utility cleaning and support duties throughout a full shift.
