Job Purpose
Acts as the airline's ambassador; strives to achieve customers' loyalty and promote a positive corporate image by enhancing overall customer experience. Provides excellent customer service to all passengers while ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the flight cycle. Be ready and fit to operate, ensuring productivity aligns with company policies and procedures.
Key Result Responsibilities- Ensures timely attendance, proper grooming, fitness and legality for assigned flights. Attends briefing to acknowledge flight details, distribution of roles, targets, security checks, boarding, etc.
- Instructs passengers on safety procedures to ensure their safety and comfort.
- Identifies areas of safety and security risks and partners with the Cabin Supervisor to take remedial action in accordance with SOPs.
- Administers first aid to passengers where necessary.
- Informs Cabin Supervisor, Flight Crew and Captain of any irregularities and malfunctions promptly.
- Welcomes passengers and assists in boarding; enters necessary data into the aircraft logbook per airline and civil aviation authority procedures.
- Provides constant excellent service by attending to individual pre-bookings, requests, and needs.
- Identifies and assists passengers experiencing stress or difficulties per policy and procedures in the Operations Manual.
- Contributes to maximizing on-board revenue and the "Charity Cloud" program by promoting meals, products, and charity services to achieve individual and team targets.
- Ensures proper and secure handling of cash and credit card payments for sales and donations.
- Conducts pre-flight checks to ensure supplies, emergency equipment, catering equipment, etc., prior to takeoff; reports deficiencies to Cabin Supervisor or Captain.
- Assists in ensuring the cabin is cleaned at transit stations and that adequate re-catering and duty free products are provided before flight.
- Ensures orderly handover/takeover of the cabin to/from catering, cleaning, and maintenance staff.
- Conducts post-flight briefing and assessment reports per policies: evaluates Cabin Supervisor and reports any problems or discrepancies.
- Accounts to Cabin Supervisor for passenger conduct and performs duties of Cabin Supervisor when designated by the Captain.
- Maintains professional and safety knowledge by attending recurrent trainings, emergency procedures, and workshops; ensures current license.
- Contributes to team effort by achieving allocated sales targets and objectives.
- Diploma or higher secondary certificate acceptable; diploma in travel/tourism a plus.
- Training in first aid, safety and emergency procedures a value-add.
- Fit to fly; good general health; no serious medical conditions.
- Presentable, friendly, cheerful and positive attitude under stress.
- Customer service oriented; understands customers' needs and requests.
- Handles difficult situations and angry customers without compromising corporate image.
- Identifies irregularities and handles threats and emergencies efficiently and committedly.
- Proactive, self-motivated, initiative and teamwork competency.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent time management and problem‑solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Fluent in English language. Other languages are an advantage based on airline requirements.
- Fresh graduates encouraged to apply.
- Previous experience as cabin crew or in customer service role in airlines, aviation, or hospitality is added value.
- Active cabin crew license an advantage.
- Capable of working in shift pattern and for extended hours.
- Shows high flexibility and adaptability to frequent changes and busy schedules.
- Demonstrates ability to contribute and deliver against policies, procedures, and KPIs.
