The Banquet Chef de Partie is responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting banquet dishes while maintaining consistent quality and adherence to the hotel’s culinary standards.

• Execute culinary techniques with precision to ensure flavor and presentation meet hotel standards.
• Maintain consistency across all banquet dishes, following recipes and specifications.
• Oversee all stages of food preparation, from sourcing ingredients to final plating.
• Ensure food safety and hygiene procedures are followed at all times.
• Manage and train junior kitchen staff (commis chefs) as needed.
• Work independently with minimal supervision, ensuring timely delivery of banquet service.

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience, especially with Oriental (Arabic) cuisine.
• Proficient with kitchen equipment and sharp knives.
• Good spoken and written English.
• Level 2 Health and Safety in the Workplace award (desirable).
• Level 3 Food Safety awards (desirable).
• NVQ Level 2 in Catering or equivalent.
• Ability to run a section and produce quality food in all areas.
• Strong oral communication, team‑management skills, and high attention to detail.
• Numeracy, adaptability, and positive, approachable manner.
