Laundry Attendants

THE POSITION

The Laundry Attendant is responsible for performing various tasks related to the processing of linens, uniforms, and guest laundry. This role emphasizes attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness, ensuring that all items meet the hotel's high standards of quality and presentation.

• Ensure the delivery of exceptional laundry services by maintaining high cleanliness standards and meticulous attention to detail.
• Assist with guest laundry requests promptly and courteously to enhance overall satisfaction.

• Perform daily laundry tasks, including sorting, washing, drying, folding, and delivering linens and garments.
• Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently, following established procedures for different types of fabrics.

• Inspect laundered items to ensure they meet cleanliness and presentation standards before delivery.
• Report any damaged or stained items to the Laundry Supervisor for further action.

• Collaborate with the laundry team to ensure smooth operations and effective communication regarding laundry needs.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss workloads, challenges, and service improvements.

• Adhere to health, safety, and security regulations relevant to laundry operations.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.

• Engage in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge related to laundry operations and equipment.

• High school diploma or equivalent (hospitality-related education is a plus).
• Previous experience as a Laundry Attendant or in a similar role within a luxury hotel environment is preferred.

• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
