Jr. Sous Chef - Cold Kitchen

Hyatt Regency Riyadh Olaya is seeking a highly motivated Jr. Sous Chef - Events to assist in leading our Events Culinary Operations. This role is responsible for supporting the planning, preparation, and execution of banquet and event menus while ensuring exceptional quality and guest satisfaction.

• Assist in managing all culinary operations related to events, banquets, and catering functions.
• Coordinate food preparation and service for weddings, conferences, VIP events, and special occasions.
• Ensure Hyatt culinary standards and presentation requirements are consistently met.
• Supervise and support kitchen colleagues during event operations.
• Monitor food quality, portion control, and cost management.
• Maintain compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations.
• Assist with menu development and event planning requirements.

• Minimum 3 years of culinary experience, including banquet or event operations in a hotel environment.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of food costing, inventory control, and HACCP standards.
