Senior Payroll Specialist

Responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing by managing employee data, time and attendance records, payroll adjustments, and statutory reports.

• Manage daily updates and maintenance of the time & attendance system
• Upload employee schedules and reconcile timesheets with active employee records
• Validate new hire data against employment contracts and review onboarding files
• Maintain and update employee master data, including bank details and cost center information
• Prepare and submit payroll-related reports, including lateness, absence, and attendance reports
• Process payroll updates such as salary increments, incentives, penalties, and manual payments (special cases)
• Prepare increment letters and update salary changes in the payroll system
• Review, audit, and validate timesheets for stores, drivers, and outsourced staff
• Manage housing allowances and calculate trainee housing benefits based on joining dates
• Process employee loans, travel expenses, and payroll accruals
• Monitor employee system status and validate joining dates against official records
• Maintain payroll documentation, ensure proper filing, and respond to employee payroll inquiries

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or related field
• Proven experience in payroll processing and time & attendance systems
• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
• Good knowledge of payroll procedures and reporting
• Ability to handle confidential information professionally
• Strong communication and organizational skills
