As Director of People & Culture
, you will develop and drive the property’s People strategy in line with the Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group.

• Set up and oversee all People & Culture practices, processes, and systems.
• Provide guidance to Division and Department Heads on all employment functions and procedures.
• Ensure career path and development needs are prioritized and documented in accordance with MO systems.
• Oversee People & Culture practices to ensure successful operation.
• Ensure the hotel’s total compensation and benefits package remains competitive within the marketplace, using current compensation and benefits surveys.
• Regularly review all jobs to maintain internal and external equity in compensation.
• Maintain a payroll system that ensures salaries are paid on time.
• Stay abreast of legislative developments that may affect the hotel and interpret their implications.
• Spearhead and implement measures and policies that promote a positive colleague climate, high morale, and effective communication.
• Promote good colleague relations through various programs and maintain a proper procedure for counseling and handling grievances.
• Support and organize social and sports activities for colleagues.
• Ensure every colleague has a valid employment contract, working permits, and visa where required.
• Comply with Saudi Labour laws.
• Overall responsible for implementing FLHSS, OHS, and sustainability policies and procedures within the department.
