We are seeking an Associate Legal Director reporting to the Legal and Compliance Director, Middle East. The role focuses on legal and compliance within Saudi Arabia, with potential exposure to the Middle East and ICR level.

• Attend and contribute to Saudi LT Team meetings, providing legal and business partner support.
• Ensure governance of the 3 legal entities in KSA and support oncology and cell therapy business.
• Lead and manage the Legal and Compliance function in Saudi affiliates and advise other Middle East countries.
• Provide legal and compliance advice to Saudi affiliates, healthcare professionals, and stakeholders, ensuring compliance with HCO policies, FCPA, and other regulations.
• Support KSA affiliates' Business Units, Market Access, Commercial Operations, and functional departments on legal matters.
• Represent the company with government health authorities when required.
• Oversee distributor management in KSA and other ME countries, including contract drafting and negotiation.
• Apply corporate, investment, healthcare regulatory, public procurement, competition, and data privacy laws, and align with Saudi Vision 2030.
• Advise on pricing, reimbursement, commissioning, and clinical guideline processes.
• Manage relationships with external law firms.
• Draft, review, negotiate commercial agreements (service, distribution/supply, consulting, licenses, tender).
• Share knowledge through group presentations and discussions.

• Fully admitted to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.
• 8+ years professional experience in biotech, pharmaceuticals, or highly regulated industry, with significant in‑house experience and emphasis on Saudi and ME legal matters.
• Exceptional communication skills in Arabic and English.
• Ability to work autonomously and lead high‑performing teams.
• Strong business‑partnering attitude and ability to influence decisions.
• Experience leading cross‑disciplinary projects and representing legal functions on strategic initiatives.
• Experience managing complex cross‑geography transactions.
• Strategic partner on legal and business initiatives with global implementation capability.
