Senior Contract Specialist

JASARA PMC is seeking a meticulous and proactive Contract Manager to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire lifecycle of contracts within our projects. Your expertise will ensure that all contracts align with the company’s strategic objectives while adhering to legal standards and compliance requirements.

• Draft, review, and negotiate various types of contracts including vendor agreements, client contracts, and service agreements.
• Ensure all contracts are compliant with legal, regulatory, and company requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess contract needs and provide insights on terms and conditions.
• Identify potential contractual risks and develop effective mitigation strategies.
• Maintain a centralized database of contracts, tracking key deadlines and ensuring compliance with obligations.
• Monitor contract performance and support necessary modifications or renewals.
• Advise and educate internal stakeholders on contractual obligations, best practices, and relevant legal updates.
• Enhance contract management processes and recommend improvements for efficiency.
• Provide training to team members regarding contract management best practices.

• Bachelor's degree in business, law, or a related field.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in contract management or a relevant area.
• Strong negotiation, drafting, and analytical skills.
• Understanding of construction contract stages (pre- and post-contract).
• Familiarity with construction contract documents (T&Cs, drawings, specifications, schedules, etc.).
• Understanding of the key parties involved in construction contracts (stakeholders).
• Knowledge of the general duties and obligations of contracting parties.
• Awareness of the typical forms of contracts used in the KSA construction industry, at least FIDIC or similar.
• Basic understanding of contract law, including how a contract is formed.
• Basic knowledge of construction activities (excavation, foundations, road works, etc.).
