Overview
Company: Neon Nook is a Kids Entertainment Company. We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our boutique kids’ entertainment venue in Riyadh. The Operations Manager will be responsible for ensuring smooth daily operations, staff management, customer experience, and flawless execution of events and birthday parties. This is a hands-on, onsite role that also oversees all internal administration and coordination with external service providers and government entities.
The ideal candidate is operationally strong, highly reliable, and comfortable managing both people and processes in a customer-facing environment.
- Oversee daily opening and closing of the venue; staff scheduling, attendance tracking, and shift management; handle call-ins, sick leaves, and last-minute replacements.
- Train and supervise reception staff and floor supervisors; cash handling, POS oversight, and daily cash closure.
- Ensure venue readiness at all times (impeccable cleanliness, lighting, AC, equipment); conduct daily safety and security checks.
- Handle incident management (injuries, complaints, emergencies).
- Oversee inventory management and stock replenishment.
- Manage supplier deliveries and perform quality checks.
- Oversee inventory management across all operational areas, including café items, arts and crafts supplies, branded merchandise, and retail products, ensuring optimal stock levels and minimal wastage.
- Coordinate with suppliers for ordering, deliveries, and invoice follow-up, ensuring timely replenishment, quality control, and accurate documentation for payment processing.
- Manage petty cash and expense logging.
- Coordinate weekly with external accounting firm for:
- Bookkeeping
- VAT filings
- Zakat and tax compliance
- Audit preparation
- Proven experience in operations management (hospitality, retail, entertainment, or family venues preferred).
- Strong people management and scheduling skills.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities; comfortable coordinating with government platforms and external service providers.
- Strong communication skills in English and Arabic.
- Detail-oriented, calm under pressure, and solutions-driven.
- Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and peak periods; onsite presence required.
