Deputy Chief Executive Officer (Deputy CEO)- Saudi Leader
The Deputy CEO supports the Chief Executive Officer in driving our clients' organization’s strategic direction, operational excellence, and financial performance. This role acts as the CEO’s second-in-command, ensuring execution of corporate strategy, overseeing day-to-day operations, and stepping in for the CEO when required.
Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Leadership
- Support the CEO in developing and executing corporate strategy.
- Translate strategic objectives into operational plans.
- Monitor KPIs and ensure alignment with long-term business goals.
- Identify growth opportunities, partnerships, and market expansion strategies.
Operational Oversight
- Ensure operational efficiency, productivity, and cost control.
- Lead transformation and process improvement initiatives.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
- Monitor financial performance and ensure targets are achieved.
- Ensure financial discipline and risk mitigation.
- Provide leadership and guidance to senior management team.
- Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and high performance.
- Support talent development and succession planning.
Governance & Risk Management
- Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and corporate governance standards.
- Identify and mitigate organizational risks.
- Support board reporting and stakeholder communication.
Acting CEO Responsibilities
- Represent the CEO in meetings and decision-making forums.
- Assume CEO responsibilities in their absence.
- Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, partners, and clients.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance, or related field (MBA preferred).
- 10–15+ years of senior leadership experience.
- Proven track record in strategic execution and operational leadership.
- Strong financial acumen.
- Experience in scaling organizations or leading transformation initiatives.
