About the Role

JASARA PMC is looking for a strategic leader to drive the commercial function across the mega-project portfolio. As the Commercial, Cost & Procurement Director, you will lead a talented team of Procurement & Quantity Surveyors professionals, along with Commercial & Contracts Managers, ensuring world-class commercial governance and delivery.

This is a leadership, client-facing role with direct influence over project decisions, budgets, and contracts offering a unique opportunity to operate at the forefront of a complex giga-project environment.

What you will do
  • Lead the PMC commercial team, fostering excellence, collaboration, and professional growth.
  • Set and implement the strategy for cost management, procurement, and commercial operations across multiple projects and packages.
  • Drive consistency in procurement approaches, contract management practices, and commercial controls.
  • Partner with the Programme Director and functional leads to ensure integrated programme delivery.
  • Anticipate, manage, and mitigate key commercial risks to safeguard project outcomes.
  • Act as a trusted client advisor, providing clear, timely insights and reports to leadership.
  • Shape the commercial success of one of the region's most high-profile project portfolios.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related discipline.
  • Over 20 years of comprehensive experience in commercial management, cost control, contracts, and procurement within the construction or engineering industry.
  • A demonstrated history of successfully overseeing large-scale projects.
  • Strong understanding of contract management and procurement regulations.
  • Outstanding leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and decision-making abilities.
  • Highly effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with client and stakeholders.
  • Capability to develop and execute strategic plans to meet organizational goals.
  • Skilled in the use of commercial management software and procurement tools.
