Position: Project Director (FM)

Project Director – Integrated Facilities Management

Location:

Riyadh

A confidential client is seeking an experienced Project Director to lead the delivery of a major, high profile facilities management programme in Saudi Arabia. This is a senior leadership position responsible for driving the strategic direction, operational performance, and commercial success of a large scale, complex FM portfolio.

The role requires an individual capable of leading multi discipline teams, ensuring service excellence, and maintaining full compliance with regulatory, contractual, and QHSE standards. The successful candidate will play a critical role in aligning operational delivery with corporate objectives, while maintaining strong client relationships and ensuring long term project performance and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide executive leadership across all operational, technical, and commercial aspects of the FM programme
  • Oversee project strategy, governance, and performance to ensure delivery against contractual and client KPIs
  • Lead and develop large, multi functional delivery teams across technical, operational, and support services
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, operational efficiency, and service innovation
  • Ensure full compliance with Saudi regulatory requirements, QHSE standards, and corporate governance frameworks
  • Manage client engagement at senior stakeholder level, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring service excellence
  • Oversee project financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and profitability
Candidate Requirements
  • Minimum 15 years' experience delivering large scale facilities management or integrated asset operations programmes
  • Proven leadership experience managing complex, multi site or mega project environments
  • Strong commercial and financial management capability
  • Demonstrated experience operating within regulated environments and delivering to strict QHSE standards
  • Strong stakeholder management and client facing experience at executive level
  • Experience working within the Middle East is advantageous
Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Engineering or related discipline is required
  • Masters degree or recognised Facilities Management certification such as IFMA, CFM, FMP or equivalent is preferred
