The Workforce Procurement Assistant Manager will lead large-scale blue-collar hiring, mobilization, and deployment operations across warehouses, logistics, delivery, and field operations. This role is execution-focused and owns end-to-end workforce deployment, from bulk recruitment through on-ground deployment and readiness.
You will work closely with manpower agencies, operations teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely availability of skilled manpower at scale.
- Bulk Hiring & Recruitment: Lead high-volume hiring of blue-collar manpower including warehouse associates, pickers, loaders, delivery staff, helpers, FM staff, security personnel, and drivers.
- Mass Recruitment Drives: Plan and execute large-scale local and overseas recruitment campaigns to meet aggressive manpower demands.
- Vendor & Agency Management: Coordinate and manage manpower agencies and recruitment partners to ensure quality, speed, and compliance.
- Mobilization & Documentation: Oversee end-to-end candidate documentation including medicals, PCC, visa processing, and immigration clearances.
- Deployment Planning: Manage candidate mobilization, travel coordination, and deployment schedules across locations.
- Workforce Readiness & Tracking: Track deployment timelines, manpower readiness, buffers, replacements, and backouts to ensure operational continuity.
- MIS & Reporting: Maintain manpower trackers, dashboards, and MIS reports to provide real-time visibility on hiring and deployment status.
- Compliance & Governance: Ensure adherence to labor laws, contracts, and regulatory requirements across all manpower operations.
- Operational Escalations: Handle on-ground workforce-related escalations and resolve deployment challenges in coordination with operations teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Operations, or a related field.
- 4–8 years of experience in blue-collar bulk hiring, workforce deployment, or manpower operations.
- Strong exposure to overseas recruitment and mass deployment programs.
- Proven experience managing manpower agencies and vendor networks.
- Hands‑on knowledge of visa processing, immigration procedures, and labor compliance.
- Ability to manage large-scale hiring volumes (500+ / 1000+ candidates).
- Strong execution, coordination, and operational discipline.
