Position: Executive Director of Global Protocol – Vision 2030 Readiness

The Executive Director of Global Protocol – Vision 2030 Readiness is a pivotal leadership role responsible for steering the organization's global protocol strategies and initiatives in alignment with the ambitious Vision 2030 objectives. This executive will design and implement sophisticated protocols and frameworks that ensure seamless international operations, diplomatic engagement, and cross-cultural relations. The role requires collaboration with high-level stakeholders, including government officials, international organizations, and private sector actors, to foster partnerships that enhance the organization's mission and reputation.

The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of global governance, protocol standards, and crisis management, along with the ability to navigate complex geopolitical landscapes. This position demands exceptional communication and negotiation skills, a strategic mindset, and proven experience in leading diverse teams within a high-stakes environment.

Job Requirements
  • A minimum of 15 years of progressive leadership experience in global protocol, international relations, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing comprehensive protocol strategies in a multinational context.
  • Deep understanding of diplomatic protocols, cross-cultural communication, and international governance structures.
  • Extensive experience in stakeholder engagement and management, particularly with governmental and intergovernmental organizations.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
  • Master’s degree in International Relations, Public Administration, or a related field; a Ph.D. or equivalent advanced degree is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with experience in assessing risks and developing contingency plans in rapidly changing environments.
  • High levels of emotional intelligence and the ability to manage complex interpersonal dynamics in diverse situations.
  • Expertise in project management methodologies, with the capacity to oversee multiple projects concurrently and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills, with a demonstrated ability to influence decision-making at high levels.
  • Familiarity with technological tools that facilitate remote communication and global collaboration.
Job Responsibilities
  • Lead the strategic planning and execution of global protocol initiatives in alignment with Vision 2030 objectives and overall organizational goals.
  • Develop, implement, and review comprehensive protocols and procedures to govern international engagements and diplomatic interactions.
  • Foster and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in various sectors, ensuring effective communication and the successful achievement of collaborative projects.
  • Manage a multi-faceted team of protocol advisors and coordinators, guiding professional development and performance management processes.
  • Stay abreast of international trends, political shifts, and emerging global issues to proactively adjust protocol strategies and mitigate potential risks.
  • Spearhead annual protocol training programs to enhance the organization's capacity for cultural sensitivity and effective international engagement.
  • Oversee the organization of high-profile international events, ensuring adherence to protocol standards and enhancing the organization’s visibility and reputation.
  • Act as the principal spokesperson for protocol issues, representing the organization at global forums and conferences with authority and credibility.
  • Collaborate with other executive leaders to integrate protocol considerations into organizational strategies and policies.
  • Monitor and evaluate the impact of protocol initiatives, providing regular reports to the executive team and stakeholders on progress and outcomes.
  • Respond adeptly to crises or unexpected situational changes, adjusting protocols as necessary to safeguard the organization’s interests.
