Overview
The Client Lead shall be directly responsible for managing the relationship and account for the designated Client in Saudi Arabia, identifying service agnostic growth opportunities, overseeing win work activities, resolving conflicts, and acting as the single point of contact between the Client and Atkins
R alis. This role also encompasses performance management of the account from revenue, EBIT & Net Promoter Score (NPS) perspectives, aligned with Market yearly targets.
- Build and maintain a strong business relationship with the Client, serving as the sole contact point between Atkins
R alis and the Client. - Coordinate the internal Client "Zipper" Plan to ensure efficient relationships at all levels of the Client organization.
- Achieve performance targets for the Client account as aligned with Market LRP and Business Plan, including P&L revenue and account growth.
- Collect regular Client Perception & Project Feedback to monitor satisfaction and contribute to Market and Middle East NPS.
- Support business development by identifying and pursuing new cross‑selling opportunities and strengthening existing service offerings in a service‑agnostic manner.
- Achieve commission win rates in line with LRP target areas, maintaining strong regional bid performance.
- Collaborate with the Market Director and Capabilities to identify skill and capability needs for current and future resource planning.
- Provide leadership, inspiring, inclusive, collaborative, and integrity‑based behaviours, as defined by pulse surveys and feedback.
- Drive achievement of Nationalisation targets.
- Actively engage in proactive win work, including opportunity identification prior to bid releases and pipeline tool input.
- Manage NPS, revenue, and EBIT KPIs throughout the year using defined financial tools.
- Support Client Value Proposition workshops and strategy development, with Capabilities support.
- Participate in bid reviews and drafting, serve as Bid Director, Bid Reviewer, or contributor, as defined by the Market Director.
- Develop win themes, competitive pricing positions, and manage bid budgets.
- Identify risk strategies, provide recommendations, and actively engage in risk mitigation planning.
- Participate in project review processes, ensuring commercial performance and delivery align with contractual commitments.
- Resolve conflicts or issues arising with the Client, engaging experts where needed.
- Oversee project delivery and team performance for all projects within the account.
- Lead and foster leadership behaviours, collaboration, inclusivity, integrity, and collective growth.
- Drive learning and development for Market resources, including succession planning.
- Ensure best‑in‑class delivery of projects associated with the account.
- Contribute to the market lesson‑learnt log, applying lessons to account management activities.
- Direct experience in account management and profitability (P&L) management.
- Experience in client‑facing roles, managing relationships and accounts, preferably in the Middle East.
- Minimum 10 years of senior experience in a related discipline (engineering or equivalent) or dual degree.
- Strong client management, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Skilled at managing complex commercial and contractual elements of account management.
- Oversight and lead fee proposals, ensuring competitiveness and profitability.
- Lead targeted marketing and business development initiatives.
- Mentor top talent.
