Job Overview
As a Senior Manager you will manage the delivery of audit engagements by defining the audit strategy in consultation with the Associate Partners or Partners and executing it in compliance with Ernst & Young s policies and protocols. When required you will personally execute complex audit procedures and lead teams or parts of teams on engagements depending on the size of the engagement.
You will also assist in managing the financial aspects of engagements by organizing staffing, tracking fees and communicating issues to project leaders as well as participating in business development initiatives.
- Proactivity, accountability and results‑driven
- Strong people management and communication skills
- Ability to deal with competing priorities and manage resources effectively
- Nine years of professional experience in external audit
- Strong academic record and professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, CPA or CA
- Experience with a Big 4 accounting firm
- Experience with risk‑based audit process
- Coaching, mentoring and counselling experience
- Experience in the Middle East & North Africa (MENA) region
- Proficiency in Arabic language
