Safety & Security Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive safety and security policies and procedures adapted to sports facilities.
• Conduct regular risk assessments and safety audits to identify potential hazards and vulnerabilities.
• Coordinate and lead emergency preparedness and response planning for sporting events and daily operations.
• Oversee access control, crowd management and surveillance systems to ensure facility security.
• Provide training and awareness programs to staff and stakeholders on safety and security best practices.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement, emergency services and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance and effective coordination.
• Investigate security incidents, accidents or safety breaches and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor regulatory changes and industry standards related to sports facility safety and security, recommending necessary updates.

• Bachelor's degree in Safety Management, Security Management, Occupational Health, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in safety and security management, preferably with a focus on sports or entertainment facilities.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations, security protocols and risk management principles applicable to sports venues.
• Experience in emergency preparedness, crowd control and incident response planning.
• Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Relevant professional certifications such as NEBOSH, CPP or equivalent are highly desirable.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic is an advantage.
