Senior Manager - Development Audit

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and execute risk-based audits across capital project activities
• Review governance processes and control environments related to development such as design and delivery functions
• Review cost-related practices and financial controls within capital projects
• Evaluate alignment with approved policies, procedures and governance requirements
• Identify key risks and translate them into clear audit observations and recommendations
• Engage with relevant stakeholders to support audit execution and follow‑up
• Contribute to the enhancement of audit methodologies, tools and practices
• Support audit planning, risk assessment and continuous improvement activities
• Assist with capability building and knowledge sharing within Internal Audit

A strong understanding of project governance, delivery, and cost management is required, along with professional certifications such as PMP or PMI‑RMP (preferred) and strong analytical and stakeholder engagement skills. Demonstrated leadership experience managing audit teams, excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, complex project environment are essential.

This leadership role involves executing comprehensive audit plans, driving internal control assessments, and providing strategic recommendations to enhance governance and risk management. The Senior Manager will work closely with cross‑functional teams and senior leadership to strengthen the control environment, optimize processes, and support the achievement of Qiddiya’s ambitious development objectives.
