Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic, commercially driven and strategic Director of Sales & Marketing to lead the overall sales and marketing revenue generation and brand positioning efforts for our property. Reporting directly to the General Manager, the Director will develop and execute comprehensive commercial strategies that maximize revenue, market share, brand awareness and profitability across all business segments.

Responsibilities
  • Commercial Strategy & Revenue Growth: Develop and implement the hotel’s annual sales and marketing strategy; identify new market opportunities and revenue streams; drive transient, corporate, leisure, MICE, group and wholesale business segments; collaborate with Revenue Management on pricing, distribution and demand strategies; monitor market trends, competitor activity and industry developments; prepare and manage annual commercial budgets, forecasts and performance reports.
  • Sales Leadership: Lead, coach and develop the Sales team to achieve and exceed revenue targets; establish and maintain relationships with key corporate accounts, travel agencies, tour operators, DMCs and strategic partners; conduct sales calls, client presentations and networking activities; oversee contract negotiations and account management initiatives.
  • Marketing & Brand Management: Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns that enhance brand visibility and drive performance; manage digital marketing, social media, public relations, content creation and promotional activities; maintain brand standards and positioning across communication channels; work with Accor regional marketing teams; oversee website performance, online reputation management and guest engagement strategies.
  • Business Development & Partnerships: Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships to support revenue generation and brand growth; represent the property at trade shows, industry events and networking functions; build relationships within local communities, tourism boards and industry associations; support development of destination experiences aligned with the Mantis brand ethos.
  • Leadership & Team Development: Foster a high-performance culture focused on collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement; mentor and develop team members through coaching, training and succession planning; promote employee engagement and alignment with company values; drive cross‑functional collaboration with Operations, Revenue Management and Finance teams.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Marketing or related field.
  • Minimum 7–10 years of progressive sales and marketing experience within luxury, lifestyle or resort hospitality environments.
  • Proven track record of achieving revenue growth and commercial success.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, distribution channels, revenue management and market analytics.
  • Experience with in international hospitality brands preferred.
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation and relationship management skills.
  • Strong leadership and people development capabilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hospitality systems such as Delphi, Opera and CRM platforms.
  • Fluency in English required; additional languages are advantageous.
