Beresford Wilson & Partners are representing a leading real estate development organisation renowned for delivering world-class master planned communities that integrate residential, commercial, hospitality, retail and mixed-use elements across the Middle East. The Giga-Developer are embarking on several transformative projects across the region and requires a Director of Development Masterplan to lead the planning, execution and delivery of complex large scale developments.
This senior leadership position will play a critical role in managing the full development lifecycle from land acquisition and conceptual design through to infrastructure rollout, plot development and vertical construction delivery. It is a strategic position for an experienced development professional with the vision, commercial acumen and leadership skills to drive high-value multi phase developments from inception to completion.
Responsibilities- Lead the end-to-end development of large-scale master planned communities encompassing residential, commercial, hospitality, retail and mixed-use assets.
- Manage the project lifecycle from land acquisition and early-stage concept planning through infrastructure, plot rollout and vertical construction phases.
- Oversee financial modelling, budgeting, forecasting and return on investment analysis to ensure profitability and alignment with performance KPIs.
- Ensure full compliance with local regulations, planning laws, permitting procedures and safety codes throughout all phases of development.
- Lead coordination across internal teams, consultants and contractors while providing regular progress reports and updates to executive leadership and key stakeholders.
- Minimum of 12 years of experience in real estate development, with a focus on master planned or mixed-use developments.
- Proven track record leading complex development projects across multiple asset classes in the Middle East or other emerging markets.
- Strong understanding of infrastructure delivery, land development, and vertical construction.
- Financial acumen with experience managing large development budgets and performing ROI analysis.
- Deep understanding of local planning regulations and development approval processes.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and presentation skills, particularly in reporting to senior executives and government authorities.
- Relevant academic background in urban planning, engineering, architecture, or real estate development.
