To manage the Firm’s Audit clients in accordance with the guidelines set out by the firm and ensure that work done is in accordance with the BDO Audit Methodology.

  • Develop and maintain productive relationships with client management and assess client’s satisfaction

Requirements:

Skills Required
  • The ability to demonstrate excellent communication, presentation and strong team leadership skills
  • Ambition, drive, energy and creativity with the ability to work with multi‑cultural and multi‑disciplinary teams
  • A proven record of business development and cross selling of services to clients
  • The ability to manage a large portfolio of audit clients ranging from small to large businesses and manage the entire audit cycle relating to these clients within tight deadlines
  • A strong and current knowledge of IFRS and ISA
  • Financial services experience is highly desirable
  • The ability to perform other (non‑audit) assignments as and when required
  • Overseas working experience is an advantage and previous work experience in the Middle East would be considered an advantage
  • The ability to train and lead audit staff and provide staff with mentoring and career development advice
  • Represent the Firm in a professional manner at all times through punctuality, appearance and presentation
Qualification and Experience Required
  • Qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA, CPA, JCPA, ESAA or ACCA)
  • Minimum qualification is a Bachelor’s degree
  • Large Audit and consulting firms experience
  • Minimum of 8 years work experience of which 2 years should be in a managerial role
