Job Description

The Role

As Director of Sales, FAENA Wadi Safar
, you will be the strategic driver of the property’s commercial success, shaping its positioning within one of the world’s most visionary ultra-luxury destinations. You will lead all sales efforts during pre-opening and beyond, ensuring strong global demand, meaningful partnerships, and sustained revenue performance aligned with FAENA’s distinctive brand universe.

You will act as a trusted commercial partner to the General Manager, Director of Marketing, Revenue leadership, and ownership, translating market intelligence and sales strategy into impactful decisions that elevate FAENA Wadi Safar’s presence across key luxury segments worldwide.

What You Will Create

Sales Strategy & Commercial Leadership

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with FAENA Wadi Safar’s brand vision, commercial objectives, and long‑term positioning as a landmark luxury destination.
  • Provide sharp market insight, sales forecasting, and strategic recommendations to guide decision‑making and drive revenue growth across all segments.
  • Partner with senior leadership and ownership to define sales KPIs, targets, and performance frameworks that support sustainable commercial success.

Pre‑Opening Readiness

  • Lead pre‑opening sales planning, including segmentation strategy, key account mapping, and revenue‑generating initiatives ahead of launch.
  • Build and structure all sales processes, systems, and pipelines to ensure readiness for opening and rapid market penetration.
  • Collaborate closely with project, marketing, and revenue teams to align pre‑opening commercial activity with brand storytelling and positioning.

Account Development & Market Expansion

  • Establish and grow strong relationships with UHNW individuals, VIP clients, luxury travel designers, and global consortia including Virtuoso, Serandipians, and AMEX FHR.
  • Drive proactive engagement with high‑value leisure, corporate, and MICE segments across established and emerging luxury markets.
  • Develop a strong global network of luxury travel advisors, DMCs, and strategic partners to position FAENA Wadi Safar as a must‑experience destination.

Reporting, Forecasting & Commercial Insight

  • Oversee accurate and timely sales reporting, forecasting, and performance tracking across all segments.
  • Deliver clear, data‑driven insights on market trends, competitor activity, and business performance to inform strategic direction.
  • Ensure full alignment with revenue management and finance teams to optimise pricing strategy and business mix.

Operational Sales Excellence

  • Implement structured sales processes, account management disciplines, and performance tracking mechanisms to drive efficiency and results.
  • Monitor pipeline development, conversion ratios, and key account performance to ensure consistent delivery against targets.
  • Collaborate with revenue management and operations teams to align demand generation with operational capacity and brand promise.
  • Build, lead, and inspire a high‑performing sales team rooted in excellence, storytelling, and deep luxury market understanding.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, ambition, and collaboration, with a strong emphasis on professional growth and continuous learning.
  • Support talent development and succession planning, with a focus on developing strong regional and Saudi national leadership capability.
