Developing and executing effective trade marketing strategies to enhance brand visibility, drive sales, and foster strong partnerships with key stakeholders. involves managing a team and collaborating across departments to ensure alignment with overall business objectives.

KEY

ACCOUNTABILITIES Strategic Contribution
  • Execute the annual business plan and targets and comply with the strategic agenda of the Sales & Distribution / Trade Marketing to deliver Nadec's vision and mission.
  • Translate the strategy into operational business plans for the Sales & Distribution / Trade Marketing lead the performance and execution of those plans to achieve functional objectives and deliver the Company’s strategy.
Leadership
  • Direct the activities of the Sales and distribution / Trade Marketing team to ensure that all work is carried out efficiently, in line with the strategic project management plans, policies, and procedures.
  • Build and lead a motivated, engaged, and competent team, by setting priorities and objectives, managing performance, and providing ongoing feedback and coaching to meet the functional challenges and goals.
  • Serve as a role model to ensure employees’ awareness and commitment to Nadec's vision, mission, values, fundamentals, and corporate strategy to establish a highly engaged and motivated team and continuously improve performance.
Budgeting
  • Lead the preparation of the department budget and monitor financial performance versus the budget so that the business is aware of anticipated costs/revenues, areas of unsatisfactory performance are identified, and potential performance improvement opportunities are capitalized upon.
  • Design category trade plans by channel following the aligned brand strategy to ensure achievement of desired market share in terms of volume and value and optimum distribution.
  • Understand and translate category business needs into value propositions, generating sales and profit for Nadec.
  • Coordinate with below-the-line (BTL) marketing agencies to develop and produce point-of-sales material, ensure all materials are as per brand guidelines, and monitor timely execution on-trade.
  • Create a promotion calendar that follows established promotion guidelines and best practices and ensures optimal return on investment.
  • Proactively gather information and intelligence on competition and their trade activities, to develop a timely and robust response and future strategy proactively.
  • Recommend comprehensive sales solutions based on market understanding to drive market share and ensure the protection of overall brand volume and value.
  • Analyze the volatility and variability of supply and demand through past sales data, and data trends analytics, in-order to define/forecast monthly needs and ensure constant catering to all channels’ needs.
  • Finalize Monthly, Weekly and Annual Category Plans
  • Submit 1 Market (KSA/GCC) Visit Report Monthly – With clear status and opportunities and challenges.
  • Lead and manage a team of trade marketing professionals, providing guidance, training, and support.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture.
  • Work closely with sales, marketing, and product teams to ensure seamless coordination and integration of trade marketing initiatives.
  • Collaborate with key retail partners to develop joint marketing programs and promotions.
  • Plan and execute trade promotions, incentives, and campaigns to drive sales and enhance brand visibility.
  • Utilize data and insights to make informed decisions on trade marketing strategies.
  • Develop and manage the trade marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources. Monitor expenses and provide regular reports on budget performance.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key trade partners, retailers, and distributors.
  • Negotiate and execute trade agreements and partnerships.
  • Provide regular reports on trade marketing performance, analyzing key metrics and KPIs.
  • Make data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement.
