Position: Executive Director - Development (Del 1)

Qiddiya Investment Company is seeking a highly skilled and visionary Executive Director - Development, with significant Theme Parks development experience. This leadership role is central to realizing our ambition to create world‑class theme park experiences that captivate visitors and contribute to the overall vision of Qiddiya.

As the Executive Director Development, you will oversee the full project lifecycle from concept through design, construction, and launch. You will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure that each theme park development adheres to the highest standards of innovation, quality, safety, and guest experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive strategies for the successful delivery of theme park projects aligned with Qiddiya’s vision and goals.
  • Lead multidisciplinary teams in the planning, design, construction, and commissioning phases of theme park developments.
  • Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Collaborate with master planners, architects, engineers, and creative teams to develop innovative and immersive theme park concepts.
  • Ensure adherence to safety standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices throughout all phases of development.
  • Engage with key stakeholders, including government entities, partners, and community representatives, to foster collaboration and support.
  • Drive continuous improvement efforts in project delivery methodologies, sustainability practices, and guest experience standards.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to senior leadership on project status, risks, and mitigation strategies.
  • Mentor and develop high‑performing teams, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Project Management, or related fields;
    Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in large‑scale theme park or entertainment development projects.
  • Strong understanding of IP management and integration within theme park environments.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading complex theme park developments from inception to completion.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate multidisciplinary teams.
  • Excellent financial acumen with experience managing large project budgets.
  • In‑depth knowledge of theme park design, construction standards, and safety regulations.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, dynamic, and multicultural environment.
  • Fluency in English;
    Arabic language skills are an advantage.
