• Lead and manage estimating teams, providing leadership, performance management, coaching, and technical development to ensure excellence in project delivery and continuous improvement.
• Conduct peer reviews of cost estimates to ensure robust governance, accuracy, and effective risk management.
• Build and maintain internal and external networks to enhance estimating capabilities and bring market insights into the function.
• Present project estimates to key stakeholders, demonstrating comprehensive understanding of project scope, costs, risks, and assumptions.
• Influence strategic business development initiatives and support the execution of work‑winning strategies.
• Manage and present benchmarking data to strengthen bid submissions and support informed decision‑making.
• Provide thought leadership through market intelligence, benchmarking, pricing trends analysis, and knowledge of prevailing market rates.
• Lead systematic performance improvement initiatives while supporting net zero carbon objectives through proactive identification, management, and reduction of carbon emissions during project delivery.

• Minimum 20 years relevant experience in construction estimating and cost planning for major capital projects, with at least 8–10 years in leadership roles managing multi‑disciplinary estimating teams and preparing client / authority submissions.
