Qiddiya Investment Company is seeking a dynamic Director of Commercial – Residential to lead our commercial initiatives within the residential projects sector. This senior position is vital to orchestrating the strategy and operations that define our residential developments, which are core to our mission of creating a world‑class entertainment, sports, and arts destination.
Responsibilities- Formulate and execute the strategic commercial framework for all residential initiatives, aligning with Qiddiya's broader corporate vision
- Lead and inspire a high‑performance team of commercial professionals tasked with managing procurement, contracts, and financial aspects of residential projects
- Negotiate contracts and manage vendor and contractor relationships to secure optimal outcomes for Qiddiya's residential developments
- Oversee project financials, including budgets, forecasts, and performance reporting, ensuring projects are delivered within financial targets
- Mitigate risks and ensure compliance with contractual obligations, regulations, and operational standards
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including project management, construction, and marketing, to ensure seamless project execution
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, local authorities, and community groups
- Provide mentorship and professional guidance to the commercial team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement
- Degree in Business Administration, Construction Management, or a relevant field; advanced qualifications are preferred
- Minimum of 15 years of commercial management experience in the residential property sector, with a deep understanding of the complete project lifecycle
- Strong financial acumen and expertise in contract negotiation and management
- Proven leadership skills with a track record of successfully navigating cross‑functional operations
- Exceptional negotiation and stakeholder management capabilities
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to influence and engage at all levels
