The Senior Manager, Compliance is responsible for leading the organization's compliance function by establishing and maintaining an effective compliance framework, ensuring adherence to applicable laws, regulations, internal policies, and governance standards. The role provides strategic oversight of compliance risks, promotes a culture of integrity, and partners with business functions to strengthen regulatory compliance across the organization.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the organization's compliance framework.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.
- Identify, assess, and monitor compliance risks, and develop mitigation plans.
- Develop and maintain compliance policies, procedures, and standards.
- Conduct compliance reviews, monitoring activities, and internal assessments across business functions.
- Advise management on regulatory obligations and emerging compliance requirements.
- Coordinate regulatory inspections, audits, and responses to regulatory inquiries.
- Investigate compliance breaches and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
- Deliver compliance awareness programs and training to promote an ethical culture.
- Monitor changes in laws and regulations and assess their impact on the organization.
- Prepare compliance reports, dashboards, and presentations for executive management and governance committees.
- Collaborate with Internal Audit, Legal, Risk Management, HR, and business units to strengthen governance and internal controls.
- Oversee compliance with third‑party, vendor, and contractual obligations where applicable.
- Manage the Compliance team's performance, development, and resource planning.
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Risk Management, or a related field.
- 6–8 years of progressive experience in Compliance, Risk Management, and Governance.
