Project Manager - MEP consultancy

Overview

One of the leading MEP specialist construction companies requires a Project Manager for a new project in Riyadh. The successful candidate shall oversee the entire operation of the project or multiple projects in coordination with the managerial project staff, the client/client representative, and the company.

• Plan, direct and coordinate activities of designated project to ensure goals or objectives are accomplished within the prescribed timeframe and funding parameters.
• Ensure all aspects of the project have been reviewed, analyzed, and that the necessary action is taken.
• Establish work plan and staffing for each phase of the project and arrange for recruitment or assignment of project personnel.
• Ensure the project progresses on schedule and within prescribed budget.
• Confer with project staff to outline work plan and assign duties, responsibilities and scope of authority.
• Ensure timely, thorough, professional, and documented reviews and related actions taken.
• Recognize and solve potential problems and evaluate project/program effectiveness.
• Ensure a realistic and quality program is delivered that ensures project success.
• Responsible for overall quality management of major project program.

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent. PMP Certification preferred.

• Minimum 10 years of progressively responsible experience including supervision.
• Expert knowledge of project management best practices, tools, techniques, analysis and methods.
• Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
• Expert knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology which includes applying principles, techniques, procedures and equipment to the design and production of various goods and services.
