The project:

This is an opportunity to work on one of the largest programmes in Saudi Arabia. This unique project consists of major mixed‑use development including sports facilities, entertainment, and arts along with all associated infrastructure. Mace is one of the delivery partners requiring high‑calibre and experienced professionals to lead integrated teams throughout each phase of the project.

You’ll be responsible for:
  • Prepare and administer contract documents, warranties, bonds, licences, and provide contractual advice throughout project delivery.
  • Measure, value, and manage variations, ensuring compliance with contract terms and agreement with contractors.
  • Oversee cost control processes, identify cost impacts, and ensure accurate financial reporting during the contract period.
  • Lead the preparation and presentation of monthly post‑contract cost reports and provide strategic cost advice to clients.
  • Evaluate and manage contractor and subcontractor claims for delays, variations, and additional costs.
  • Advise on practical completion, defects liability, final completion certifications, and negotiate final accounts.
  • Lead, manage, and develop teams through performance management, coaching, technical guidance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Build and influence senior stakeholder relationships while supporting sustainable delivery and net zero carbon transition objectives.
You’ll need to have:
  • Degree in quantity surveying/cost management (or equivalent).
  • Professional membership or working towards, e.g., MRICS/RICS (or equivalent).
