Job Description
The Project Control Manager is responsible for planning, monitoring, controlling, and reporting project performance across scope, schedule, cost, risk, and resources. The role ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in alignment with organizational objectives by establishing robust project controls, governance frameworks, and performance reporting mechanisms.
Your role Project Planning & Control- Develop and maintain project control frameworks, procedures, and standards.
- Establish project baselines for scope, schedule, and budget.
- Monitor project progress against planned milestones and deliverables.
- Identify schedule variances and recommend corrective actions.
- Ensure effective change management and configuration control processes.
- Track project budgets, forecasts, commitments, and expenditures.
- Analyze cost performance and provide variance reports.
- Support financial planning, budgeting, and cost optimization initiatives.
- Ensure accurate project financial reporting and compliance.
- Develop and maintain integrated project schedules using project management tools.
- Conduct schedule risk analysis and critical path assessments.
- Monitor project milestones and provide schedule performance reports.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to mitigate delays and project risks.
- Identify, assess, and monitor project risks and opportunities.
- Maintain risk registers and mitigation plans.
- Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) and project dashboards.
- Provide trend analysis and performance insights to leadership teams.
- Prepare and present project status reports for senior management.
- Facilitate project review meetings and governance forums.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, standards, and contractual requirements.
- Support audits and project assurance activities.
- Collaborate with project managers, finance teams, vendors, and business stakeholders.
- Communicate project performance, risks, and issues effectively.
- Support decision-making through accurate and timely project data and analysis.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Project Management, Finance, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in project controls, project management, PMO, or related disciplines.
- Experience managing large-scale projects and cross-functional stakeholders.
- PMP, PRINCE2, PMI‑SP, or similar certification preferred.
