Project Manager, Project & Program Management, Regulatory Compliance Specialist

One of our clients are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and manage tourism and hospitality development projects from initial planning through execution and final handover. The role is responsible for delivering projects on time, within budget, and according to approved quality, safety, and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage tourism projects such as resorts, hotels, entertainment destinations, visitor centers, cultural attractions, and leisure facilities.
• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, resource plans, and risk registers.
• Coordinate with consultants, architects, contractors, operators, government authorities, and other stakeholders.
• Manage the full project lifecycle, including concept development, feasibility studies, design, procurement, construction, testing, commissioning, and handover.
• Monitor project progress, costs, quality, and contractual obligations.
• Ensure the project delivers excellent visitor experience and meets tourism-sector requirements.
• Review designs, technical submissions, tender documents, contracts, and contractor proposals.
• Identify potential risks, delays, and cost overruns and implement corrective actions.
• Manage project scope and evaluate variation orders and change requests.
• Conduct regular site visits and progress meetings.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
• Coordinate with hotel or tourism operators to ensure operational requirements are incorporated into the project.
• Obtain necessary permits and approvals from relevant Saudi authorities.
• Prepare progress reports, presentations, financial updates, and performance dashboards for senior management.
• Manage project closeout, snagging, final inspections, documentation, and handover to the operations team.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Tourism Development, or a related field.
• Minimum 5–8 years of project management experience.
• At least 3–5 years of experience in tourism, hospitality, leisure, entertainment, or destination-development projects.
• Strong project planning and leadership skills.
• Excellent budget and cost-control abilities.
• Contract, procurement, and risk-management knowledge.
• Strong stakeholder and consultant-management skills.
