Job Description & How to Apply Below

Our client is a long-established Saudi automotive dealer group with a strong market presence and a portfolio of leading brands. They are seeking an accomplished Chief Operating Officer to translate strategy into disciplined, measurable performance across the business.

Reporting to the Group CEO, the COO will lead operations across a substantial, multi-brand organisation, ensuring strategic priorities are clearly defined, decisions are executed effectively and accountability is embedded throughout the business. The mandate is to strengthen operating discipline, improve decision-making and establish the processes, standards and management capability required to deliver sustained performance.

About You

A proven operator, you will have a track record of delivering results in complex, multi-site organisations, combining commercial acumen and sound judgement with the authority to lead senior teams and influence manufacturer partners and other stakeholders.

Strong understanding of automotive retail and aftersales economics is essential, including the drivers of revenue, margin, productivity, cost and profitability. Financial and operational data should be central to your approach, enabling you to identify opportunities, challenge performance and respond intelligently to changing market conditions.

Technology will also feature prominently in your thinking. You will understand how digital platforms, data, automation and artificial intelligence can generate tangible commercial value across sales, stock management, customer experience, control and productivity.

As a leader of people, you create clarity, set high standards and establish genuine accountability. You develop capable managers, retain strong performers and address underperformance directly, fairly and consistently.

Experience
  • Significant senior leadership experience in automotive distribution, retail, aftersales or a comparable international, multi-site business.
  • Proven P&L responsibility and strong commercial understanding.
  • A record of leading business and AI transformation and delivering measurable improvements.
  • Experience managing multiple brands, manufacturer relationships, partners and diverse teams.
  • Practical knowledge of digital, data and AI technologies and their commercial application.
  • The presence, communication skills and judgement to operate as a close partner to the Group CEO.

This is an opportunity for a hands‑on, commercially driven COO to shape the operating model of a major automotive business, improve the quality and speed of decision‑making and build an organisation capable of consistently performing at a higher level.

What's on Offer?

An attractive compensation package will be offered, commensurate with the seniority of the role and experience required.
