Furniture Fixtures and Equipment Coordinator. The PMO project role would be based full-time in the Client's offices in Riyadh, KSA.
The Furniture Fixtures and Equipment (FF&E) Coordinator is responsible for providing design management for numerous Project Management Consultants (PMCs), contractors and design consultants to create the requirements for FF&E, including material boards, samples, finishes and palettes. The role includes oversight for vendor management, procurement, logistics, and site management for installations.
Key ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities include the following:
- Coordinate FF&E, artwork, décor and bespoke product packages from concept to final delivery.
- Assist the Client in developing custom product concepts.
- Coordinate with PMCs, contractors and designers for preparation of material, finish and product specifications.
- Coordinate with PMCs, contractors and designers for development of mood boards, presentations and product selection sheets.
- Coordinate with PMCs and designers for samples, prototypes, finishes and Client approvals.
- Review BOQs, specifications, drawings and design requirements for compliance.
- Liaise with the Client, PMCs, design consultants, suppliers and manufacturers to confirm consistency and compliance.
- Closely monitor PMC and contactor procurement trackers ensuring deliveries supporting key dates for asset occupancy.
- Support PMCs and contractors for site coordination, installation and final handover of a assets for occupancy and revenue generation.
- Coordinate with the End-user for acceptance regimes concluding with transfer of furnished assets for beneficial use in accordance with defined requirements.
- Verify readiness for acceptance and start-up activities.
- Ensure punch list identification and closure processes for FF&E are effectively managed.
- Coordinate turnover packages and handover documentation.
- Facilitate Final Acceptance and project close-out activities.
- The position serves as the focal point between Engineering, Construction, Commissioning, Operations, Vendors, and Client representatives throughout project execution.
- Develop and implement furnishing strategies, execution plans, procedures, and schedules.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary installation and acceptance activities to ensure seamless furniture, fixture and equipment integration.
- Coordinate among numerous PMCs and contractor personnel.
- Ensure installation and acceptance targets and project milestones are achieved safely and efficiently.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Construction, QA/QC, Operations, HSE, Vendors, and Client teams.
- Participate in installation, commissioning meetings, readiness reviews, and management progress sessions.
- Interface with package vendors during manufacture, shipping, temporary storage and installation activities.
- Resolve technical issues impacting commissioning and acceptance schedules.
- Manage acceptance inspection activities with Client, PMCs and contractor for acceptance processes.
- Review and verify FF&E completion dossiers.
- Ensure timely closure of punch items and deficiencies.
- Ensure all installation activities comply with project HSE requirements and company procedures.
- Lead installation risk assessments, operations reviews, and Job Safety Analysis (JSA) activities.
- Ensure proper implementation of Permit-to-Work (PTW) systems.
- Promote a strong safety culture during installation and acceptance phases.
- Participate in incident investigations and implementation of corrective actions.
- Verify compliance with project specifications, installation procedures, and industry standards.
- Review fabrication records, installation reports, and completion documentation.
- Ensure proper documentation of installation results.
- Support quality audits and Client inspections.
- Ensure accurate as-built and turnover records are maintained.

- Interior Design degree or diploma
- Preferred Certifications
