Role ContextThe Senior Project Manager will provide senior-level direction across a portfolio of luxury hospitality developments, ensuring individual Project Managers and project teams remain aligned with corporate strategy, client priorities, contractual obligations, and financial targets. The position combines program-level leadership with detailed oversight of project execution, commercial performance, scope control, technical quality, schedule recovery, and stakeholder management. Effective leadership in this role will help protect project value, maintain delivery consistency, and support continued business growth with key clients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direction and management to Project Managers responsible for luxury hospitality and related development projects.
- Establish clear project and performance goals aligned with Country Manager priorities and corporate strategy.
- Oversee delivery performance across multiple projects and keep senior management informed of progress, risks, and significant issues.
- Ensure projects are completed on schedule, within or below approved budgets, and in accordance with contractual obligations.
- Establish program requirements and confirm project deliverables meet defined technical, commercial, quality, and client criteria.
- Oversee preparation and implementation of Project Execution Plans, Health and Safety Plans, Quality Assurance and Quality Control Plans, and supporting project procedures.
- Act as Parsons ' senior representative with clients, consultants, contractors, and selected subcontractors throughout project execution.
- Manage project scope development and maintain control over changes that may affect cost, schedule, quality, or commercial outcomes.
- Negotiate scope changes and significant commercial matters with Clients and key subcontractors.
- Work with Business Development teams to identify opportunities for additional services and future project work.
- Prepare and distribute project summaries that provide teams with a common understanding of scope, objectives, responsibilities, and delivery requirements.
- Coordinate with key project leaders to develop corrective action plans where cost overruns, delays, scope changes, or other delivery risks are identified.
- Advise Clients and company leadership of material changes that could influence project cost, completion dates, or contractual obligations.
- Promote technical and commercial excellence by ensuring Quality Assurance processes are consistently applied across projects.
- Monitor significant project milestones, cost performance, schedule status, scope development, and delivery risks.
- Provide regular performance reporting to the Country Manager covering project achievements, emerging issues, mitigation actions, and executive decisions required.
- Supervise Project Managers and provide guidance when complex technical, contractual, commercial, or stakeholder issues arise.
