Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Manager, the core business need centers around championing a culture of safety and well-being within the organization. The primary purpose is to lead and manage comprehensive HSE initiatives, ensuring a secure and compliant working environment for all personnel.
This strategic position involves the development and implementation of HSE strategies, policies, and procedures to promote a proactive approach to health and safety. The HSE Manager collaborates with cross-functional teams, integrating HSE requirements seamlessly into broader organizational objectives and projects.
Key responsibilities include monitoring and analyzing safety performance indicators, identifying areas for improvement, and fostering a strong safety culture. The focus extends to overseeing the planning and execution of safety programs, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
The HSE Manager establishes and maintains effective relationships with internal stakeholders, regulatory bodies, and external partners to uphold and enhance safety protocols. Utilizing HSE technology and systems is vital to enhance incident reporting, track safety metrics, and facilitate continuous improvement.
Proactively identifying and mitigating HSE risks is a crucial aspect of the role, along with addressing issues related to emergency response planning and environmental sustainability. The HSE Manager interfaces with personnel at all levels to understand and address safety needs, providing effective solutions and support.
Key Responsibilities and Specific Accountabilities:- Lead and manage comprehensive HSE initiatives to ensure a secure and compliant working environment.
- Develop and implement HSE strategies, policies, and procedures, integrating them into organizational objectives and projects.
- Monitor and analyze safety performance indicators, identifying areas for improvement and fostering a strong safety culture.
- Oversee the planning and execution of safety programs, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders, regulatory bodies, and external partners.
- Utilize HSE technology and systems to enhance incident reporting, track safety metrics, and facilitate continuous improvement.
- Proactively identify and mitigate HSE risks, addressing issues related to emergency response planning and environmental sustainability.
- Interface with personnel at all levels to understand and address safety needs, providing effective solutions and support.
- Control HSE costs and stay informed about industry trends and emerging HSE solutions.
- Provide strategic recommendations to optimize HSE processes, reduce incidents, and enhance overall workplace safety.

- Ability to write official transmittals.
- Ability to record the minutes of meetings.
- Coordination between all parties and distributing the correct correspondences to the right persons.

- Mentor and coach his colleagues.
- Support and respect client representatives.
- Follow the best practice of Communications skills with his line manager and his colleagues.
- Relevant degree and certification such as NEBOSH Certification.
- A minimum of 12 years of experience in safety.
- Fluency in the English language is mandatory.
