Conference Project Manager

Join IDC's growing Events team as a Conference Project Manager and take the lead in delivering some of the region's most influential technology conferences and summits. We’re looking for a passionate, client-focused B2B events professional with 5+ years of experience in managing conferences or exhibitions. Based in Riyadh, you’ll collaborate with a talented regional team that brings IDC’s vision to life across the Middle East, Türkiye and Africa (META).

Type of contract: Permanent, Full time, Hybrid
Location: Riyadh – Saudi Arabia

• Lead end-to-end planning and execution of conferences and summits across the META region.
• Work closely with internal teams, clients and sponsors to develop compelling agendas and event experiences.
• Manage relationships with venues, vendors and suppliers to ensure seamless delivery and adherence to budgets.
• Monitor profitability, track event KPIs and ensure events meet both client expectations and IDC standards.
• Utilize social media and digital tools to support event marketing and drive audience engagement.
• Be a team player who contributes to a collaborative, high‑energy environment and inspires junior colleagues.

• Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, Business or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience managing B2B conferences, preferably within technology, consulting or media industries.
• Proven track record in client‑facing roles, event budgeting and multi‑event project management.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Working knowledge of social media platforms for event marketing and engagement.
• Experience with virtual/hybrid event platforms such as CVENT, Zoom, Hopin, On24 and live‑streaming technologies.
