Charge Nurse; Plastic Surgery

Responsible for supervising nursing operations within the plastic surgery department and ensuring high-quality patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures. Leads the nursing team and coordinates daily clinical activities to maintain patient safety and operational efficiency.

• Supervise nursing staff and assign daily duties.
• Ensure readiness of operating rooms and treatment areas.
• Assess and prepare patients before surgical procedures.
• Monitor patients’ recovery and provide post‑operative care.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Coordinate with plastic surgeons, anesthesiologists, and healthcare teams.
• Educate patients regarding pre‑ and post‑operative instructions.
• Ensure compliance with infection control and safety standards.
• Maintain accurate medical records and nursing documentation.
• Respond to emergencies and resolve operational issues.
• Train and mentor newly hired nursing staff.

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Nursing.
• Valid RN license and professional classification from Saudi Commission for Health Specialties.
• Experience in surgical or plastic surgery nursing.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are an advantage.

• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
• Knowledge of plastic surgery procedures and post‑operative care.
