Summary:
Operating Room Level II has 22 operating rooms (plus one L&D OR, one DMU OR, one Emergency Medical Services OR, and one OR at the Children's Cancer Centre).
OR Level II specialties include:
- General Surgery
- B-HIPEC and IORT procedures
- Orthopedic Surgery
- Neurosurgery
- Gynecology
- L&D
- Urology
- ENT/Base of Skull/Oral Surgery
- Pediatric Surgery
- Ophthalmic Surgery
- Plastic Surgery
The CVOR (four ORs) and the Organ Transplant OR (eight ORs) are separate.
Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (online/distance education programs cannot be considered)
- Current nursing (RN) license
- A minimum of four years recent experience as a Registered Nurse in a mid- to large-sized acute-care hospital, including a minimum of one to two years of current experience in a similar position in a General OR at a large, acute-care teaching hospital
