Education/QualificationsRequired:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
- Qualifications:
- Minimum Two (2) years of clinical experience post qualification
- Minimum One (1) year in the inpatient unit
Current and in good Standing Nursing License/Registration (RN) to practice in country of residence
Job Duties and Responsibilities:- Perform comprehensive head to toe patient assessments on admission and throughout hospitalization.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans.
- Monitor vital signs, fluid balance, pain levels, and clinical status, reporting changes promptly.
- Administer medications and IV therapies safely within the scope of the Registered Nurse license.
- Provide wound care, catheter care, enteral feeding management, and other clinical procedures as required.
- Monitor patients receiving oxygen therapy, telemetry, or complex medication regimens when applicable.
- Recognize early signs of deterioration and escalate care according to hospital protocols.
- Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, physiotherapists, and the multidisciplinary team to coordinate care.
- Educate patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions.
- Prepare patients for diagnostic tests, procedures, and transfers.
- Participate in discharge planning to promote safe transition of care.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and legal documentation in the electronic medical record.
- Adhere strictly to infection prevention and control standards.
- Participate in emergency response and code situations within the unit.
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and patient safety programs.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information at all times.
- Demonstrate professionalism, accountability, and ethical nursing practice.
- Support junior staff and participate in ongoing clinical education activities.
