Job description for a nursing specialist:

The tasks of a nursing specialist include providing integrated nursing care to patients, by preparing, implementing and following up on the nursing care plan, taking vital signs and samples necessary for laboratory tests, administering medications and drugs as instructed by the treating physician, documenting all nursing procedures and activities in the medical record, and fully adhering to occupational safety standards.

• Patient assessment and care
• Assessing the patient s health status and collecting data from the patient and their family.
• Analyzing health information and identifying nursing care needs.
• Preparing a nursing care plan, monitoring its implementation, and evaluating its results.

• Take the patient s vital signs regularly.
• Blood, urine, and stool samples are collected and sent to the laboratory.
• Follow up on the results of laboratory tests and inform the treating physician of them.
• Administering medications and intravenous solutions according to the treatment plan.
• Participate in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) when needed.

• Document all nursing procedures in the medical record.
• Commitment to applying public safety rules and principles.
• Developing work methods and keeping up with the latest practices in the field of nursing.

• Arabic language:
