Overview
Account Manager, LE/GE, GTS ide sales role focused on contract value retention and growth through contract expansion, by introducing new products and services and through net new account growth. The territory includes small- to medium-sized client accounts.
Responsibilities- Act as a strategic partner to C-level and senior executives within an assigned territory of small- to medium-sized organizations
- Manage and renew member research contracts
- Own the full sales cycle from prospecting through close
- Be responsible for strategically selling and retaining Gartner’s advisory services to midmarket organizations or emerging technology organizations
- Manage forecast accuracy on a monthly/quarterly/annual basis
- 1-5 years’ experience in a professional setting, preferably with evidence of prior success in sales and strong interest in technology
- Bachelor’s degree, with strong evidence of success in school
- Proven demonstration of intellect, drive, executive presence, and sales acumen
- Strong computer proficiency
- Excellent written and oral/presentation skills
- Ability to develop and conduct effective presentations via the telephone with decision makers (C-level)
- Knowledge of the full life cycle of the sales process from prospecting to close
- Knowledge of how to manage a geographic territory to meet and exceed quota objectives
