WhatYou Will Do With Your Expertise and Our Support
Responsible for all pre‑sales activities pertaining to your personal accounts and/or your local designated team’s activities and management—including developing bids and integrated solutions, in collaboration with technical PMs and the Presales department. Present proposed solutions to clients and manage their expectations and requirements. Manage key accounts and develop them.
Key Results Areas (Responsibilities)- Manages Presales personnel, monitoring their activities, providing support and guidance when needed.
- Participates in sales calls with colleagues when needed.
- Develops technical design and commercial pricing for the presales team.
- Suggests discounts, margins, and presentations of the presales team, and provides guidance on the same when needed.
- Keeps records and organizes reporting back the director on all presales activities.
- Provides strategic feedback and input on presales activities.
- Organizes the presales team’s leaves and vacations in coordination with HR.
- Participates in recruiting new presales personnel.
- Monitors and develops the team.
- Coordinates and provides data on training requirements for their teams.
- Coordinates with other departments on ongoing projects, bids, troubleshooting, and any activity that might require his/her input.
- Is available for traveling, meeting new clients, and site surveying even in harsh conditions.
- Gets briefing from client on required solutions, obtains documentation, contacts consultants (if applicable), conducts site visits if possible.
- Opens new accounts and establishes relationships with clients and suppliers.
- Builds system design based on client requirements—including hardware, software, technical drawings and IT infrastructure; specifies power, mechanical and electrical requirements for the project.
- Handles commercial aspects of each project covering PoQ, optimal software and hardware pricing, and negotiates commercial terms.
- Prepares technical submittal of the solution as a technical–commercial bid/proposal.
- Meetings with clients to clarify project dynamics, timelines, execution, and planning.
- Briefs PM on all aspects of the project and hands‑over all documentation, client contacts and other aspects for project execution.
- Interacts with PM and client to ensure follow‑up on project execution and delivery.
- Assists Auto‑CAD section in preparing final solution drawings.
- Supports business development with potential or repeat clients.
- Manages key accounts and advises on their approach strategy.
- Provides feedback on the general performance of MVP inside key accounts.
- Advises and implements action steps to maintain relationships and retain sales growth in key accounts.
- Bachelor of Engineering (Electronics or CS related) or BA in Business or equivalent.
- Master’s Degree or vendor certifications are considered advantageous.
- Excellent knowledge in the relevant markets.
- Excellent business communication skills.
- Proficiency in required languages (specified per country & market).
- Technical knowledge in Security Industry and networking.
- Presentable and dynamic.
- Frequent travel may be required (local, regional, and international).
- Flexibility to work across time zones based on global account locations.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in IT security solution design and execution.
- Must have UAE market experience; knowledge of GCC is advantageous.
